The cool new tech gadgets of 2010 have definitely shown Moore’s Law in action, bringing us the Joby
Gorillapod Magnetic, the Urbanears Plattan Headphones, the JETBeam RRT3, and lastly, the Korg Sound on Sound.

Joby’s Gorillapod Magnetic

Our first new tech gadget is Joby’s Gorillapod Magnetic, never has there been such a flexible tripod for your digital camera. Each tripod leg bends and rotates 360 degrees, and is capped with a magnetic base for it to attach to any magnetic surfaces, no matter what the angle.

Urbanears Plattan Headphones

Moving on to the Urbanears Plattan Headphones, these unique headphones hold an extra jack for your friend to plug his earphones into as well, allowing for two people to listen to one music player. In addition, it’s extremely mobile as it collapses to the size of your fist – but do not compare size with quality, since it can easily expand back to full size headphones, providing the richest sound possible.

JETBeam RRT3

Third on the list of new tech gadgets is the JETBeam RRT3, a hand-held flashlight that outputs a whopping 1200 lumen. Do not mistake this military-grade device as a simple household flashlight, as it provides enough light to shine a human being from a mile away. In addition, it provides both a solid beam of light as well as a strobe function in case of an emergency.

Korg Sound on Sound

Last but not least, the Korg Sound on Sound provides a high-quality recording capacity right in your palm. The Sound on Sound is no ordinary recorder however, as it can record and layer multiple tracks. In addition, it includes an infinite number of overdubs, 10 hours of recording time, and over 100 effects all stored inside.

This year’s catalogue of new tech gadgets does not disappoint, and make sure to check all four out if you want to stay on top of the technological ladder.
